You need to meet the conditions to be considered a highly qualified worker.
Your employer must be enrolled in the Tech Visa program.
Tech Visa is a program that aims to make the process of granting a residence visa/residence permit to highly qualified and/or specialized immigrants more effective and efficient by certifying companies.
The program is aimed at companies operating in the global market, with headquarters or permanent establishment in Portugal, who wish to attract highly qualified and/or specialized technical staff from third countries and residents outside the European Union to Portugal.
The Tech Visa aims to ensure that highly qualified and/or specialized staff from outside the European Union can access jobs created by Portuguese companies in a simplified way.
