Description

Europeans need immigration too

European Union citizens have the right to live and work in Portugal without the need to apply for visas or other administrative migration procedures.

However, they must inform the Portuguese government that they will be residing in the country for more than 90 days. This is done by obtaining a CRUE - European Union Registration Certificate.

It is a European procedure, uniform in all EU countries, and is valid for 5 years.
